Happy 5th Birthday Tori

My Tori turned 5.  She really is growing up on me.  We celebrated both the babies bdays cause we had to skip Kiera's when hers was due this year.  no biggie we just had one huge party, each girl had her own cupcake cake and we had a great day.  It was HOT but we had fun.  each kid got a goody bag with a can of silly string in it, talk about fun, damn I should have gotten some pics of that.  My sis helped me out alot with cleaning and getting ready for the party, I will just skip the whole part about J putting off doing the yard work till the very last day cause he wanted to play golf...... I still had a great day giving my baby's an unforgetable party and I have the pictures to prove it....    lol...

I hope all my readers are oing good.

I was hoping to try to get around some in here tonight, but I have grown really tired and this damned computer isn't fast enough for my sleepy eyes.

Harvest Homecoming 2007 (40 years)

Took the kids to the rides down at Harvest this week.

They had a blast.

The night we went they had braclets for 10 bucks a kid and they got to ride as much as they wanted from 6-9.

My babies are getting to damned big, they both rode the scrambler and the tilt awhirl and the tornado...

over and over and over again.....

good times I hope they will remember for a long time.

 

Today I found out our Dear Sweet Penny is gone, I will miss her so much.

I got on AOL tonight to check on Penny 

 

I was hoping to read that she was at least out of the hospital,  but even if she wasn't I wanted to make a date to visit her. 

 I was really hoping to meet her at the Olive Garden even if I had to settle for the take out menu.  I was ganna leave her a message to let her know that Jan. 3rd she should reserve for me cause I would be in her neck of the woods for a Miley Cyrus concert that night.  I got really happy when I seen she had an entry posted.  I click on it and te page couldn't load fast enough for me, it finally poped up and I found out she has passed away.

  I know I should be thinking that she isn't in pain and suffering anymore cause we know from her blog the last few weeks were doing a number on her body, but she kept her spirit up till the end as far as I know.  She was such a kind hearted woman, she had a way of making all of us comfortable with ourselves so it was easy to spend time reading her journal and getting to know her better.  Any of you who were lucky enough to have her be a reader of your journals like me I knew she was such a good person.  A beautiful lady in a bad world, she always made me feel better about myself, my life. 

 I will miss that...

Labor Day Weekend Camping @ Guist Cr 2007

We had a really good time camping this weekend.  The weather was perfect.  Sunday was a bit muggy but we kept cool.  The kids had a BLAST.  No one was hurt.  J ran out of beer (which is a good thing cause he wasn't hung over the last day we were there and had to pack). and and even better thing.....  sit down now you wont believe this...  not only did I not let J start any fights with me, but this is the real biggie....   The RV made it.  and made it back home again too.  I almost lost it when J 2~wayed me and said something happened it was making some really bad noise under neath, we were at exit 28 and had to go to exit 35.  I drove with my fingers crossed and praying the rest of the way, and we made it, I was so happy.  That RV has ruined every camping trip we ever took it on, but not this one. I was determined to have a good weekend as a family. 

going back to last year

The readers I have had will remember last year when i went to 4 H Camp with Kandace.  I took alot of little clips from the week we were there.  Another wonderful memory for her to pack in her heart.  She did all kinds of stuff, but most of all we laughed so much our checks and bellys hurt by the days end, there was no falling asleep WE PASSED OUT.  I hope I get to go with her next year.  This year she went to a kiddo camp with her step moms Church.  There was only about 100 kids compared to last years almost 300.  Both years it was dead heat summer hot, but they accommodate the kids with extra swim/creeking time and plenty of bottled water.  but anyway's the reason i am doing a sort of repost about last years camp is to post the video clips montage I just got done putting together.  I have posted a couple videos from that week, and about 300 pictures, but here is the full video clips all together, it's abou 30 minutes long, so I understand if you just wanna go onto the next journal, but if you make it thru to the end, it is pretty dark for a bit, but if you listen you can hear me and the other leaders snuck in on the teen leader the last morning there and soaked her with ice cold water.  its dark cause we didn't want to wake her.  but it is to damned funny, she had been getting us wet all week long every time we turned around she'd soak us with a water bottle, or a water gun she'd sweet talk off one of the little boys.  although her getting us wet in the heat of the day all week wasn't nearly as bad as us waking her with ice cold water.
