Memorial Weekend 2007

We went camping for the Memorial Weekend. The kids had a great time, we spent a ton to much money, but the memories the kids made are well worth it. Papa brought the ski bob and I got Kiera out on it with me, she loved it. Tori was too scared to get on it as well as Tay, but Kandace Loved it. Even though she spent more time in the water waiting for us to pick her up than she did actually riding it. We had 4 camp sites full of people. 2 RV’s, 1 pop up and 4 tents. OMG I can’t even tell you how good the food was this weekend, we smoked a turky and a ham and had steaks one night another night we had these big ol pork chops and 1 night we fried catfish, I don’t do the catfish to well but this time I tried it and liked it, but be the old age setting in. I made ghetto dugouts this week end and it got outstanding results, everyone loved them. The old age set in when it was time to pack up and leave too. Man it was so friggin hot. And yep if you haven’t guess it yet the fucking RV broke down on us again, lol, I have to laugh, so that makes 5 times now we have taken it out and 5 times it didn’t make it home, hell 4 of 3 of those times it didn’t even make it to camp. This time it broke down 1 exit away from home, so we just parked it at the thortons and we will deal with it tomorrow. If I don’t go torch the damn thing first. J is ganna sell it and get us some jet ski’s hell after a day on the jet ski who cares where the hell you sleep at night. Plus without the RV that means I get kid free nights…. Lol, I remember when that would get a woot woot, now it really just means I can sleep all night with out a “I got to pee” whisper waking me up…

Well I got to get more laundry done and who knows how long it will take to upload the pics from this weekend, lol, so I hope all ya’ll had a great Memorial weekend. Till next time peace out.

Pictures are from Guist Creek, last weekend.  We are going back tomorrow and staying till Monday Afternoon.  Oh boy this should be fun.  The RV is once again ready for us to pick up and if you hear about a flame mobile on I-64 that will be me, cause I swear if it breaks down on us again I am going to torch the fucker.  no lol about it. 

 

Ididn't mention in the private journal that I have fingernails now, that is amazing, I haven't had them since Tori was a baby.  But for the last month I haven't bitten them once and the are strong too, I love that I have nails again. 

 

Hope everyone will have a safe and fun holiday weekend.  I know I will one way (bottle) or another, lol. 

Hope you had a great Easter

I had some issues but the kids had a great day.

My Mom took on the role of Easer Bunny this year and made the girls some really nice baskets, they got a ton of candy and some glasses, bubbles, wands, ball cups, and all kinds of little toys too, they loved it. When Tori woke up I was already awake downstairs, but I heard her shouting at Kiera “KeKe get up it’s Easter” it was the sweetest thing. I couldn’t believe J had heard them and got up too, we had a very nice and believe it or not quiet Easter Sunday Morning. Then we went to Church, the kids love to go. After me and J talked about what happened at Church this weekend he is ok with getting up and taking the kids to Church and me staying here to prepare brunch for him and the kids and his parents. I think this way will be best for all of us.

Saturday we went to J’s step sister’s house for Easter. Her husband is the one with the Brain tumor, this was to be his last Easter, it was heart breaking. Kandace didn’t really know to much of what was going on, so I had to let her know that Kev isn’t doing as well as we had all hoped, he is home they took him off the rehabilitation cause he wasn’t strong enough to make any improvements. It has to be the hardest thing to know that this is really it. The end is near. I do not know how I would be able to deal with anything close to that right now or ever in my life. Ya’ll can give Kev some prayers heck who knows what kind of miracle can still happen. But for now we have all been told to make sure we say what we need to cause the Dr.s are at the end of helping him.

Today as been crazy. I have my X’s 3 kids here for Spring break this week, oh lucky me, they must really trust me not to let the kids get hurt, lol, or to hurt the kids. Just kidding, they are getting better, but they did forget to bring their mid day meds, so we’ll see if the live long enough for their mom to get off work and get here to get them, lol
